Sharing our passion for microscopes

The microscopes you'll use are part of a generous bequest from the Greenbaum family.

During his lifetime, Paul Greenbaum collected over 200 microscopes and related scientific instruments. At the heart of his legacy lie not just the instruments themselves, but also a passion for sharing his love of microscopy with others.

That is why the Museum's wonderful volunteers now run regular object-handling sessions, where anyone can experience first hand the excitement of seeing the world around us in spectacular close-up.
