With a background in model-making and a love of history, Owen brings a high level of experience to the technical side of the Museum. Owen's role involves many different practical aspects, from making teaching instruments, object mounts to building exhibitions and displays. These all involve problem solving, a good eye for detail, patience and the ability to drink tea at regular intervals!
After getting his BA in 3-D design representation Owen worked in London for many years cutting his teeth as a commercial artist. Heading slowly westward looking for a place to settle down and start a family, he discovered History of Science Museum and Oxford and never looked back! With Vision 2024 Owen is excited about the infinite range of possibilities for re- interpreting and re-displaying this gem of a Museum.
